The centre is working on a programme of exhibits for Southern General Children’s Hospital, which will keep children occupied and entertained as they wait in emergency departments and other areas.

The hospital says the exhibits will be ‘a range of electro-mechanical and audio-visual based interactive exhibits’.

The appointed design group will work closely with Glasgow Science Centre’s in-house exhibition team on the project – which is valued at £650 000-£750 000.
