If these anecdotes sound a bit too good to be true, sadly that’s because they probably are.
Instead, these bold and false claims are among the pieces in Kenny’s forthcoming print show at Lomography East London Gallery, Last Night I Sang Karaoke with Bill Murray.
The works are all themed around the idea of a ‘fantasy lifestyle’, executed using traditional woodblock and letterpress techniques.
Kenny’s work is inspired by Victorian posters, the French Surrealists of the 1920s, contemporary music and literature to design clever typographical posters, according to the gallery.
In a cute twist, the first print in the series was inspired by an event that did actually happen to Kenny. However, the nature of the true claim remains a closely guarded secret…
Last Night I Sang Karaoke with Bill Murray runs from 5 – 30 September at Lomography East London, 117 Commercial Street, London, E1
