Bluestone brands Plymouth Park & Ride

Plymouth City Council is to relaunch the city’s park and ride bus schemes next month, sporting a livery designed by local design consultancy Bluestone Design.

Together with regional bus operator First Devon and Cornwall, the council is hoping that the branding will encourage more people to use park and ride facilities in the area. A fleet of nine redecorated vehicles will go into service directly after the New Year.

‘The environment and congestion are becoming such big issues, so we hope our work will inspire people to think about using buses as an alternative way to commute to work or to the shops,’ says Bluestone Design director Ian Gunningham.

Bluestone Design has also created supporting merchandising materials including accessories such as mouse mats, balloons and key rings.
