Four Hidden Art honours for Phipps

A host of designer-makers were honoured at Hidden Art’s second annual awards in London’s Bethnal Green last night.


A host of designer-makers were honoured at Hidden Art’s second annual awards in London’s Bethnal Green last night.


The 1800-strong membership organisation selected winners from 16 categories.


Jake Phipps dominated, with a total of four accolades for most active member and best press profile, most popular product on the Hidden Art e-shop and most successful innovative route to market, while Anthony Dickens was awarded best commission/business deal and most influential and inspiring Hidden Art member.


Ryan Frank received an honour for most sustainable product/environmentally conscious company.


An exhibition of 25 nominated designer-makers’ work was launched at the awards, and will be on show at the Rich Mix gallery in Bethnal Green, E1, until 17 December.


Among those exhibiting are Barley Massey, Damdesign, Deepa Panchamia, Duffy London, Ella Doran Design, Frank, Fuse Design Collective, Jethro Macey, Kate Goldsworthy and Ryan Frank.
