Lippincott appoints new creative chief

Lippincott has appointed Lee Coomber, former executive creative director at Wolff Olins, to the newly created position of senior partner and creative director for Europe.

He joins the group’s London office this week after officially leaving Wolff Olins last Friday. He will not be directly replaced at Wolff Olins, where he spent 14 years. However, a spokes man for the consultancy says it is ‘actively looking for group creative directors’.

‘As we continue to grow in Europe, Lee brings the creative clout we have been looking for,’ says Simon Glynn, head of Lippincott in London.

Lippincott has seen several senior management changes in the past couple of years, including the departure in September of its senior partner and creative director Simon Stacey to Interbrand, for whom a replacement is currently being sought.
