Nokia has announced it is to delay the opening of its flagship UK store on London’s Regent Street.
Nokia has announced it is to delay the opening of its flagship UK store on London’s Regent Street.
Previously scheduled to open on 14 December, the store, designed by Eight Inc, will not launch until ‘after the holiday season’.
Nokia says in a statement today that ‘due to recent challenges over access and infrastructure at the site of Nokia’s new London Regent Street flagship store, we have made the decision to delay the opening’.
It goes on to blame this year’s wet summer for causing ‘severe’ delays to the construction timetable.
Nokia will announce a new opening date in the New Year.
