Shake-up at Designers Republic

The Designers Republic has made two senior appointments, following a reshuffle of its senior management.

Commercial director Richard Wright takes up the role of managing director, while founder Ian Anderson moves to take the reins as creative director.

Wright was invited to step up after playing a key role in the group’s recent rapid growth and record performance, according to non-executive director Steve McKevitt.

Anderson’s move to the role of creative director will allow him to spend more time with the design team and focus on client projects.

McKevitt remains on the board as non-exec director.
