Patrizio to head Red Bee Media

Red Bee Media has announced that media and broadcasting executive Bill Patrizio is to take the helm as chief executive from January.

He replaces Pam Masters, who stepped down from the post in July to become vice-chairman from 2009. Masters oversaw Red Bee Media’s transition from a division of the BBC to an international independent group.

Patrizio has, most recently, been president of Technicolor Network Services since 2007, responsible for the strategic growth of the company and managing international development.

His previous experience spans marketing for global brands including Kellogg’s to leading the post-merger integration of Universal Studios following its acquisition by Seagram.

Patrizio has also been corporate senior vice-president at Walt Disney, overseeing strategic sourcing and procurement, as well as having spent time working in the finance industry between 2005 and 2007, overseeing the supply chain integration between JP Morgan Chase and Bank One.
