Cogapp creates infinite snowflake

Coggapp has created an ‘infinite snowflake’ application for its website, where users can design, save and send digital snowflake creations.

Joshua Routh, assistant producer at Cogapp, led the design, which has been adapted from a design by Cogapp’s former interactive programmer Tim Hewitt.

A database of 1000 existing snowflakes are available for viewing online and users can make their own flakes, which can be emailed as a direct link to others.

Routh says, ‘Twelve angles of rotational symmetry allow people to make quite simple designs look far more complex.’

The infinite snowflake can be found at http://snowflake.cogapp.com/
