Designed in Devon launches regional chapters

Designed in Devon, which is part of the South West Design Forum, has set up three local chapters and is seeking to establish more.

The chapters have been set up in Exeter, Plymouth and Torbay, to better serve the group’s members, DID says.

Richard Holt from the Centre for Creative Industries will run the Exeter chapter, Designed in Devon chairman Korash Sanjideh will run the Plymouth chapter and Martin McCulley of Fruition Design will run the Torbay chapter.

The group is now seeking to develop chapters in north Devon.

Sanjideh says, ‘The city-specific chapters will allow us to cater to the individual needs of the design community better, by providing the events and information they need on the ground.’
