New Brand Vision creates Davis Cup website

New Brand Vision has created a new website for the Davis Cup tennis tournament.

The consultancy was appointed in April following a pitch to design the site for the International Tennis Federation.

Ben Harris, managing director of New Brand Vision, says the consultancy created the ‘complete architecture’ and ‘defined all the wireframes for the site’, as well as updating the online branding and design.

He says, ‘The Davis Cup is a very complex tournament. There are lots of different countries [involved] so the site has to take on lots of different forms at different moments – it has to be versatile.’

Sarah Pflanz, account director at New Brand Vision, says that to bring ‘the Davis Cup brand to life’ the consultancy focused on driving users though the site quickly by ‘updating the online identity, and creating visual devices that can be used across the site to drive user journeys’.

ITF president Francesco Ricci Bitti says, ‘The relaunch of the Davis Cup website will help to engage a new audience with the competition as well as providing existing fans with a more comprehensive online experience.’

The site launches today to coincide with the final of the Davis Cup.
