The festival will run over five days next month and feature a Spring Market on the library’s piazza, as well as performances, panel discussions and business advice from the library’s Business and IP Centre.
We’re particularly looking forward to the Emotional Type ‘pecha-lecture’ hosted by Adrian Shaughnessy and featuring Neville Brody and Jon Wozencroft.
The Art of Illustration event will see a block-buster line-up including Jamie Hewlett, Quentin Blake, Posy Simmonds and Martin Rowson choosing their favourite illustrations and discussing them.
Also not to be missed is the Illuminate late night session, which will feature an exhibition of work by Jon Burgerman, James Jarvis and others, as well as live workshops soundtracked by a Mr Scruff DJ set.
The Spring Festival will run from 1-5 March at the British Library, Euston Road, London NW1. For more information visit www.bl.uk
