Design Week Awards judges named

The judging panel for the 2012 Design Week Awards has been named, featuring leading figures from all design sectors.

The awards, which will be held on 13 June, recognise creativity across all design disciplines.

Sitting on the brand design jury will be Simon Manchipp from Someone, Matt Baxter from Together, Jamie Ellul from Magpie Studio, Louise Kyme from the British Heart Foundation, Martin Grimer from Aesop and Rhys Williams from The Quietroom.

Sitting on the retail design jury will be Philip Hansford from Campaign, Steve James-Royle from The Yard Creative and Stuart Wood from Fitch.

The Packaging jury will feature Simon Adamson from Bloom, John Davies from Butterfly Cannon and Shaun Bowen from B&B Studio.

On the Product, furniture and service design jury, Lee Broom will be joined by further judges, yet to be announced.

Sitting on the Exhibition design and wayfinding jury are Leigh Cain from the Museum of London and Alex Wood from Holmes Wood.

The Editorial design jury features Caz Hildebrand from Here and Jeremy Leslie from Magculture.

The interactive jury features Philip O’Dwyer from Method and Steve Price from Plan B Studio.

Also joining the judging will be Design Week’s Angus Montgomery, Tom Banks and Emily Gosling, and Creative Review editor Patrick Burgoyne.

Futher judges will be announced across all juries in the coming weeks.
