Evolve creates ‘boutique’ housing development marketing suite
Evolve has created a ‘boutique’ marketing suite for an upmarket Linden Homes housing development in Hertfordshire.
The project started last year after Evolve worked on the identity of the King Harry Park estate in St Albans. The consultancy says it is aiming to buck the traditions of marketing suite design and create a space that reflects the taste of potential buyers.
The result was to turn three houses (360m2) into a space that resembles ‘a boutique hotel’ and ‘a gallery’.
The waiting area is fitted like a living room with sofas and coffee tables. Information is presented on floating LED panels rather than on the walls like in traditional marketing suites. Visitors can also walk upstairs and view the suite from above.
Jake Mason, a director at Evolve, says, ‘Most marketing suites look the same, but St Albans is a yummy mummy, Jack Wills, White Stuff area. We wanted ours to feel the way buyers would while living here.’
Looks inviting and boutiquey, double height space with twin windows seems unusual. The freestanding graphic walls appear a bit temporary in the space. Not a mock-up kitchen in sight which is a good thing.
