Ex-300 Million MD launches Pin Creative

Former 300 Million managing director Nigel Davies has started a new venture, consultancy Pin Creative.

Two weeks ago Design Week reported that 300 Million had fallen into administration and closed its doors.

This followed what Davies said were the combining factors of a client which couldn’t pay its debt and the loss of a client, and came just a week after the consultancy won a gold DBA Design Effectiveness award for its Stop Sex Trafficking Campaign for Body Shop.

The consultancy had also counted  Russian-based international telecommunications company Yota and the London Symphony Orchestra among its clients.

Tweeting from the @pincreative account Davies yesterday wrote, ‘That which does not kill us makes us stronger, Friedrich Nietzsche. Today I’m going back to Moscow.’

Speaking from Moscow, Davies confirmed he is working alone under the Pin Creative banner and is ‘at the very beginning of something new’.

Davies who ‘may look to work with freelancers’ and is just ‘getting things going’ says he is currently looking for new business.
