About 15 artists will be in situ throughout the week, making prints on one of three screen-beds.

The artists involved include illustrator Damien Weighill, who has designed six little moustache drawings, which members of the public can print for free throughout the week.

Jayoon Choi’s prints are beautifully simple little monochrome line drawings. Ellie Philips of Jealous, says, ‘Her works are lovely – she’s one of our most popular artists, She’ll be making line-drawings of passers by form the window, sketching people and making prints.’

As well as the graduate screen-bed, there will be one screen devoted to graphics and illustration. Philips says, ‘Broadly speaking, the work from the grads tends to me more contemporary and painterly. Some of the graphics works, like Damien’s [Weighill] are really humorous.’

Jealous will be taking over Heal’s, 196 Tottenham Court Road, W1T from 30 January – 5 February. For more information visit http://www.jealousgallery.com

What a really good idea. Showing the work being made gives a great insight into how the works are conceived.

My favorite is that lips graphics. I think I can apply this design for my tri fold brochure design project. I’m pretty sure it will help my promotion boost faster because of these eye-catching graphics.
