The annual show draws together 500 international brands across 91 showrooms in the Design Centre, plus surrounding King’s Road Chelsea locations.
This season there appears to be a slightly wistful feel. Organisers tell us to expect, ‘Perennials, stripes and silks in a pretty romantic palette of violet, blossom, and clover.’
Rockwell, who has designed the set of the upcoming Academy Awards, will speak about his design approach at a keynote. He is also working with Jim Thompson on a new product range which can be seen at the show.
New this year are Lewis & Wood, C & C Milano and Chaplins, and Jaccaranda Carpets which have new showrooms within the Design Centre. New brands featuring across Design Centre showrooms for the first time include Kathryn Ireland, Gainsborough Silks and Patrick Gallagher Tessuti.
London Design Week takes place from 11-13 March for the trade view, 14-16 March for the general public at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour, Lots Road, London SW10.
