Making Magazines

Editorial design gurus Jeremy Leslie of Magculture and Simon Esterson of Eye are organising new one-day conference Making Magazines, which is being held on Friday.

Making Magazines

The event brings together editorial designers who the organisers say are at the forefront of developments in the way magazines are created and consumed.

Speakers include Danny Miller from The Church of London and Andrew Diprose, art director not just of Wired UK but also of the superb The Ride Journal.

The event is being held at St Bride’s Foundation in London, who will be opening up their print workshop on the day. There will also be an exhibition and the Magculture and Eye shops will be on-site.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the St Bride’s Foundation.

And the organisers hope the event will live in in print form (appropriately) having brought in editor Kati Krause to create a Making Magazines, magazine, which will be made available after the event.

Making Magazines is at the St Bridge’s Foundation, 14 Bride Lane, London EC4Y 8EQ, on 16 March. For more information and to book tickets, visit stbride.org.
