Marina Willer to become new Pentagram partner

Wolff Olins creative director Marina Willer is set to join Pentagram as a partner in its London office.

Willer, who joins Pentagram in April, will be the group’s 18th partner worldwide.

Willer has been with Wolff Olins for 13 years, and has worked on identity programmes for Tate, the Southbank Centre and Amnesty International.

She says, ‘I am really proud to be invited to become a partner at Pentagram. I have huge respect for their work, their principles and their uncompromising passion for design.’

Wolff Olins was unable to comment on plans for replacing Willer.

    Curious, is this a first? Beyond the great work, aren’t partners typically also selected because they have run their own studio for a number of years.
