A round-up of this week’s news in brief.

Consultancy Broadbase has designed the event graphics for London Jewellery Week, creating tube posters, advertising, invitations, signage and the event guide. Broadbase also worked on the 2011 campaign.

Bisqit, the branding and design arm of Hill+Knowlton strategies, has appointed Ross Hopcraft to lead its experiential offer. Hopcraft, former Land Design associate director,will report to Bisqit managing director Karen Porter.


Pearlfisher has created the branding and visual identity for new olive and antipasti brand Bodega. The consultancy created the brand name, tone-of-voice and packaging for the range, using a bold red typography and strap line ‘Antipasti Appreciation.’ The packaging also features an illustration of an olive picker.


Frieze magazine is unveiling a redesign this month, which has been overseen by the magazine’s art director Sonya Dyakova. Dyakova says she has brought in new sections and a new typographic approach, aiming to produce an ‘expressive, visually arresting publication’.

City University London is seeking design consultancies to work on projects including literature and campaigns.


To The Point has created the designs for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Excellence Awards. The consultancy has created a typographic approach based around the Olympic theme of gold, silver and bronze.


M Worldwide has created a new 150m2 retail and visitor centre at Conwy Castle in Wales. The consultancy was appointed to the work by Cadw, the Welsh Government’s Historic Environment Service.
