Tayburn works on Glasgow 2014 branding

Edinburgh-based consultancy Tayburn has been appointed to work on the brand strategy for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Glasgow 2014 says the work will include developing a core narrative and a creative brief for the Games as well as working on sub-brands such as Volunteering and the Queen’s Baton Relay.

Tayburn’s strategic work with then be developed by an advertising agency into campaigns.

The Glasgow 2014 identity was designed by Marque Creative, following brand strategy work by Elmwood.

This brand strategy work was based on Glasgow’s bid identity, which was itself developed by Tayburn and Navyblue.
