A book of Hayward Gallery exhibition posters
A poster book celebrating past exhibitions at London Southbank Centre’s Hayward Gallery has been released.
On Display: 50 Posters Designed for the Hayward Gallery contains marketing posters created by designers such as Neville Brody, Theo Crosby, Roger Huggett and Richard Hollis.
The book, spanning exhibitions from 1970 to 1992, is A3 in size and has perforated pages, so that the posters can be removed and framed.
The book was curated by Catherine Flood, curator of posters and prints at the V&A, and designed by Copenhagen-based consultancy Designbolaget.
Flood has also produced an introductory essay to the poster selection, and writer Hettie Judah has provided accompanying text for each poster explaining the story behind it and the relevant exhibition.
The 112-page paperback book is £30 and is available to buy online from the Southbank Centre shop.
