Here experiments in type have included a series of workshops, a presentation at the last London Design Festival and even the creation of a recipe to cook up your own tasty version of Monotype’s Burlingame font.
Now Hyndman is set to release The Type Taster book, which looks at the different “personalities” fonts have.
She says: “We are all type consumers: we interact constantly with type in our everyday lives, fonts effect what we read and they influence the choices we make.”
The Type Taster book comes with a set of 3D glasses and you can choose from five limited edition covers, using the Clarendon, Helvetica, Gill Sans, Didot and Baskerville typefaces.
Depending on which typeface you choose, you will find a corresponding personality analysis in the book.
