Leisure retailer The Orchid Group has appointed consultancy Aricot Vert to create 20 individual identities for its pubs and carveries.
The appointment comes following the group’s purchase of 290 pubs from Spirit Group, later acquired by Punch Tavern, in June 2006.
Aricot Vert was handed a brief, which includes developing pub and carvery logos, menu design and producing a signage system.
The consultancy will use contemporary illustration to reflect Orchid’s interpretation of the carvery from overcooked meat and poor-quality vegetables to fresh, locally sourced food.
The new identities will roll out throughout 2007.
