Consultancy 999 Design has appointed Gavin Clark, former group account director of event and promotional marketing agency Momentum, as managing director of its Glasgow office.
Clark, who will start his role on 1 March, will be responsible for clients including British Telecom, Warburtons, Highland Spring and Puma.
Current group managing directors Bill Gaughan and Richard Bissland will be stepping back from the day-to-day running of the consultancy to concentrate on developing new opportunities for the business across the UK.
Previously, Clark has created integrated campaigns for global brands including Budweiser off-shoot Bud Rising, Smirnoff Experience, Bacardi B-Live and Robinsons Fireworks Spectacular.
Clark says, ‘The 999 Group offers me a unique career opportunity to apply my commercial and brand marketing skills to the creative sector, bringing a fresh perspective and dynamic aspect to this highly successful creative agency.’
The new managing director joins from Momentum in London, where he worked on Mini, American Express, Intel and Pepsi Max.
Gaughan says, ‘We want to help businesses of all sizes fulfil their potential by providing them with unique customer communications and insightful ideas.’
