Relaunch for Gulbenkian site

Digital consultancy Designjunction is overhauling the Gulbenkian Foundation’s UK website www.gulbenkian.org.uk, which is due to relaunch at the beginning of next month.

On Friday, the organisation announced the longlist of museums and galleries contending for its £100 000 Gulbenkian Prize.

The group has been briefed to improve usability and accessibility while delivering a ‘a huge wealth of content’, according to consultancy design director Chanuki Seresinhe. The solution will combine in-depth structural work, an ‘elegant’ visual design and a customised content management system, she adds.

The UK branch of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a funder of developments in contemporary arts, education and social policy and also promotes Portuguese culture.
