The Royal Mail today unveils a set of six stamps designed by consultancy Redpath, to celebrate the role that dogs play in people’s lives. The stamps all feature specially commissioned photography by Tim Flach, and their launch coincides with the centenary of the introduction of police dogs in the UK. ‘Because the dogs are all working, it seemed appropriate to convey that through movement,’ says Redpath creative director Iain Lauder.
