Dried fruit brand Tropical Wholefoods is set to unveil new branding, packaging and a product line designed by Simmer.
Food and drink branding specialist Simmer worked with illustrator Amanda Enright on the new brand identity, which features a lino-cut sun motif.
The new branding and packaging design will be applied across Tropical Wholefoods’ dried fruit and dried mushroom ranges.
Tropical Wholefoods hopes that the new look will help to reinforce its Green credentials, the company using non-chilled container ships to transport its goods.
Bearing the Fairtrade logo, the new line will be available in three savoury apricot kernels flavours – natural, tamari roast and chilli.
The packaging depicts scenes from African and Pakistani village life. Simmer claims it was trying to convey an impression of the communities that Tropical Wholefoods works with to manufacture its products.
Tropical Wholefoods’ apricot kernel range and the new branding and packaging will launch at the end of February.
