The global network features consultancies including Conran Design Group, French groups W&Cie and BETC Design, Euro RSCG C&O and Euro RSCG Portugal. Each of the groups will keep its name, business model and clients under the new umbrella.
The group’s leadership team includes Conran Design Group managing partners Jane Simmonds and Nigel Forsyth, as well as top executives from the other groups.
Simmonds says, ‘It is more of a collaboration than a network. What unites us is a multicultural approach.’
Christophe Pradère, chief executive of BETC Design, says, ‘This platform will first be rolled out with the sister consultancies in the Havas network. The second phase will be to welcome new consultancies into the Havas Design Plus network that share our same quality and vision of the future of design.’
He adds, ‘Our business model is different from Anglo-Saxon networks because it is agile, decentralised and based on tools and processes that will evolve and be enriched by each consultancy’s skills.’
David Jones, global chief executive of Havas Worldwide, says, ‘Design has increasingly become a defining element of the success of some of the world’s largest brands. The launch of Havas Design Plus is an incredibly exciting opportunity for us to bring together some of the world’s leading design companies and unite them under a powerful global umbrella.’
