Ico Design creates Heron Tower website

Ico Design has created a website for central London office development Heron Tower, following its branding of the block last year.

The 46-storey tower, located close to Liverpool Street station, is due for completion in 2011.

The website, www.herontower.com, is the latest element in a set of marketing tools designed by Ico for Heron Tower, including a literature package and interactive, multi-screen presentation. Ico has also worked on the building’s marketing suite.

An interactive map of the local area along with illustrations and diagrams of the tower are available on the website, which is intended to highlight the block’s unusual features. Once built, the tower will be arranged into three-storey ‘villages’, each with its own two-storey atrium.

Ico’s next phase of work on Heron Tower will include designing signage for the building.

Quite nice site, but the site feels really fragmented from one page to the next. Not sure that it helps the image of the building. Disappointing.
