Peter and Paul rebrands interior design organisation

Peter & Paul has rebranded the British Institute of Interior Design. The new logo will launch this week.

Peter & Paul was appointed in July following a seven-way credentials-led pitch. It was chosen on the strength of its branding work for the Architecture Foundation, says BIID president Jenny Gibbs.

Peter & Paul project director Heather Ditch says, ’We wanted to create a logo that reflected the BIID’s status. The cube had a natural relation to the idea of owning interior space.’

In addition to the logo, the redesign includes a refreshed colour palette and a new website, due to launch in April.

Gibbs says, ’We were particularly pleased with the way the logo could be developed in 3D for exhibitions or for our first awards show next year.’
