Full Pick Me Up line-up unveiled

Graphic art fair Pick Me Up has announced its 2011 line-up, which will see Anthony Burrill set up an ‘open studio’ as designer-in-residence. He will be joined by exhibitors including Rose Blake and Mr Bingo.

Michael Marriott will design the exhibition, in London’s Somerset House, next month, and will also make bespoke furniture for Burrill’s temporary studio.

Burrill will be joined in the space by collaborators including artist and ceramicist Emily Forgot, who is designing a 3D paper model, sculptural artist and illustrator Wilfrid Wood, who will work with Burrill on spray stencil print-making, Kevin Meredith – known for his Lomography photography – who will set up a photo booth in the studio and digital consultancy Everywhere, who will create interactive iPad software featuring Burrill’s graphics.

Collectives including Concrete Hermit, Evening Tweed, It’s Nice That, Nobrow, Nous Vous and Print Club London – which all featured at the inaugural Pick Me Up last year – will join newcomers Ditto Press, Jaguar Shoes, Puck and Them Lot.

An It’s Nice That drawing event will see more then 50 illustrators create drawings in under 30 minutes. These will then be sold for £35.

Pick Me Up runs from 17-27 March at Somerset House.
