Interior designer Kelly Hoppen joins Dragons’ Den panel

Interior designer Kelly Hoppen is joining the panel of investors on BBC Two show Dragons’ Den.

Kelly Hoppen

Hoppen is being brought in as Hilary Devey and Theo Paphitis are leaving the series, and another Dragon is still being sought.

Hoppen runs her own consultancy, working across interior and product designs, and also runs the Kelly Hoppen Design School. She was awarded an MBE in 2009.

She says, ‘Having started my business as a teenager, building a global brand through two recessions, I understand the reality of running a creative business.

‘I’m looking forward to bringing a different perspective into the Den and hopefully finding an undiscovered gem or two.’

Series 11 of Dragons’ Den is due to air in the autumn.
