Orme departure sparks search for CCB chief

The Centre for Creative Business is undergoing a management restructure, following the departure of its chief executive Greg Orme (pictured).

Orme, who helped to found the joint venture between London Business School and the University of the Arts London three and a half years ago, starts a new job this week as chief executive of recruitment consultancy Major Players, based in London.

The CCB has named its academic director Dr Joan Burks as interim chief executive and will also be working with industry consultant Graham Hitchen to scope out its future development. It was set up to provide a range of business courses, mentoring schemes, conferences, events and business networking clubs designed to ‘educate and equip creative industry management teams’.
