Strong results for Hasgrove

Marketing and communications services group Hasgrove says it has had a strong second half for 2007, in line with market expectations, according to its trading update for the year.

The group expects to publish its preliminary results for the year to 31 December 2007 in early April.

The group’s two design consultancies – The Chase and Landmarks – delivered a number of significant business wins, says the report, and have completed a large joint project for a European client.

During the second half of the year, the group completed three acquisitions in the digital communications sector – Amaze, Odyssey Interactive and Pavilion Communications. It now has more than 150 employees in this sector and expects a turnover in excess of £15m.

Recent client wins across the group include Astra Zeneca, Danone, HMV, Northern Rail and Rio Tinto.

Looking forward, the group is seeking to develop a ‘comprehensive digital offering’ of strategic, creative, media and technology skills.
