Cheltenham brand consultancy Arthur Steen Horne Adamson has created the corporate branding for investment management company Ashburton.

ASHA has designed a new brand logo, literature system, signage, press advertising and a website.

Marksteen Adamson, a founding partner at ASHA, explains that a major challenge of the project was to make the branding stand out in the ‘already crowded world’ of financial services.

Adamson says, ‘Ashburton is “insightful”. It sees things in a different way. “The way we see things” became the driving idea that would bring “insight” to life.

‘It also gave us a creative platform to deliver a unique visual expression, through collage and animation made from simple objects found on any working desk.’

ASHA was commissioned by Ashburton in autumn 2007 to develop its brand identity, after winning an open pitch with three other design consultancies.

Further aspects of the branding will be rolled out later in the year, including animations, production brochures and company newsletters.
