Corporation Pop creates Creamfields campaign

Corporation Pop is revising the logo for music festival Creamfields, as part of a brief to develop the campaign for this year’s event.

Following a four-way pitch last December, the Manchester-based consultancy was appointed to create advertisements, flyers and online marketing for the festival, which takes place on 29-30 August in Cheshire.

A spokeswoman for the consultancy says Corporation Pop was asked to the pitch after the client saw its work for Manchester dance music event the Warehouse Project, and added that it has also been asked to revise the Creamfields logo.

Dom Raban, managing director at Corporation Pop, says, ‘The key to the brief was ensuring that our approach was entirely flexible.

‘As part of our proposals, we digitally deconstructed the familiar Creamfields logo and have designed a template that allows us to apply a similar treatment to any image.’

James Barton, chief executive of Creamfields, says, ‘Corporation Pop grasped the ethos of Creamfields and provided a solution that we know will excite and capture the interest of our audience.’
