Robot Food wins Robert Welch cutlery brief

Harrogate-based consultancy Robot Food is working on packaging designs for home, kitchen and tableware company Robert Welch.

Robot Food, which was set up earlier this month by Simon Forster and Mike Shaw, formerly of The Core and Face Media, was appointed directly by the client, which Shaw had worked with at his previous employer.

The consultancy is redesigning packaging for Robert Welch’s cutlery box-set range, to reduce costs and environmental impact while improving aesthetics, according to Forster.

Shaw says, ‘We are incredibly excited to already be working with one of the country’s most-respected designer brands.

‘We understand a brand’s strengths and know how to communicate them in bold and truthful terms.’
