Elmwood’s Jonathan Sands receives OBE

Sands, who led a management buyout of Elmwood in 1989, when it became an independent consultancy, has been awarded the OBE for services to the creative industries.

Tatjana Hine, managing director of Stirling-based graphic design consultancy TBDA, has also received an OBE, which was awarded for services to business.

Others receiving awards include: Robert Law, managing director of product design group Magmatic; Richard Penny, director of the Watershed Media Centre in Bristol; and photographer Jeffrey Vickers.

Fashion designers Katharine Hamnett and Alice Temperley have received a CBE and MBE respectively, and Farah Ramzan Golant, executive chairman of ad agency AMV BBDO, has received a CBE.
