Zeev Aram, Ilse Crawford and Kevin McCloud receive New Year Honours
Aram Store founder Zeev Aram, interior designer Ilse Crawford and TV personality Kevin McCloud have all been recognised in the New Year Honours List.
Furniture retailer and designer Aram receives an OBE, while Crawford and McCloud are both given MBEs.
Meanwhile former Glasgow School of Art director Seona Reid, who stepped down in 2012, has been made a Dame, and former Interbrand London chairman Rita Clifton, who left the consultancy in 2012, has been awarded a CBE.
Iain Gray, chief executive of the Technology Strategy Board, and Joanna Shields, chief executive of Tech City UK, have both been named as CBEs.
MSQ Partners chairman Roger Parry, who led an employee buyout of the company in 2011, has been made a CBE.
And Erica Bolton and Jane Quinn, co-founders of creative industries PR consultancy Bolton & Quinn, have both been made OBEs.
