Loewy has announced its second acquisition this week, which sees consumer agency Mantra Public Relations join the fold.

Following the deal, Loewy’s PR capabilities now cover consumer, corporate, technology and public sector expertise. The group acquired specialist technology PR consultancy Rainier in October 2006 and consumer PR agency BMA communications in September 2005.

The deal follows on from Loewy’s acquisition this week of retail packaging and brand specialist Epoch Design.

Mantra was co-founded in 2000 by Debbie Wosskow and Lawrence Dore. Clients include The Financial Times, The Economist, Emap and ITV.

Mantra’s team of 30 will remain at its Tottenham Court Road offices in central London.
