Tictoc wins Mimi Berry Web task

Tictoc has begun work on bag designer Mimi Berry’s new e-commerce website. The design group was awarded the project two weeks ago on the basis of its e-commerce credentials.

The revamped website, which will replace the current offering, is intended to broaden the bag company’s customer base and provide it with an extra revenue stream. Mimi Berry supplies department stores and operates a shop in east London.

‘The current site is difficult to navigate, so we are developing the platform from scratch,’ says Tictoc London director Stephen Cribbett, who is leading the project alongside Tictoc creative director David Mcgilvray. ‘The user experience is paramount when creating e-commerce sites, so the new website will be very clean and unfussy. We also intend to spotlight the notion of hand-crafting and bring the visual language of the website on a little further,’ he says.

The website is scheduled for completion at the end of September, after which Tictoc will continue to work with Mimi Berry on search engine optimisation and digital marketing.
