Gardiner Richardson works on health centre brand

Newcastle-based consultancy Gardiner Richardson is creating a new identity for the Centre for Translational Research in Public Health.

The CTRPH is one of five centres of excellence in public health in the UK, and comprises Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside universities.

It works in collaboration with local government, the NHS and other organisations to raise understanding of health issues across the region and tackle health inequalities.

The consultancy was appointed to the work in April following a six-way pitch and briefed to develop a new name, identity, website and communications strategy for the centre.

Professor Martin White, of the CTRPH, says, ‘In order for the centre to be a success, we require an instantly recognisable brand identity to help us build credibility with, and gain buy-in from, a wide range of partner organisations.’

Darren Richardson, director at Gardiner Richardson, says, ‘We will ensure what we develop for the centre gains influence and importance, and establishes a powerful connection with its partners and stakeholders.’

The new work is set to roll out in August.
