Industry Design revamps Henleys outlets

Industry Design is creating new interiors for clothing store Henleys, which will be applied to four outlets this year and rolled out across a further 15 next year.

Appointed in June after the Manchester-based consultancy approached Henleys with a strategic pitch, Industry Design developed a proposal to create a ‘manor-house look and feel’, according to the group’s managing director Tim Williams.

‘It’s sophisticated-looking and slightly distressed,’ says Williams. ‘Imagine the heritage feel of an old stately home. There’ll be a lot of timber panelling.’

Industry Design’s creative director Mark Frankland will lead the project with Williams, working on the new look and feel, which will be known internally as ‘House of Henleys’.

The first revamped store will be unveiled in Glasgow in October.
