Wally Olins to address London debate on the global downturn

Wally Olins will speak about the global economic crisis at an event chaired by the former Mayor of London Ken Livingstone this Saturday.

Olins, co-founder of Wolff Olins and chairman of Saffron Brand Consultants, will address how London can develop its value-added creative industries, to help the capital to compete economically with Asia’s manufacturing muscle.

The event is organised by Ken Livingstone’s cross-party forum Progressive London, which campaigns for policies to improve London.

Titled ‘The Global Economic Crisis – why the crisis is not over; debating the economic alternative’, the conference line-up also includes Vince Cable MP, Geoffrey Robinson MP and Diane Abbott MP.

The debate takes place this Saturday at Hamilton House, Mabledon Place, WC1.
