Bob’s your Unkle
Dance duo Unkle’s seven-album career has spanned twelve years and delivered memorable graphic art.
Now one half of the group James Lavelle will curate an exhibition, Day Dreaming With James Lavelle, pairing new tracks with creatives – each briefed to deliver an exclusive work for the show.
An installation, screen prints and photographs by light artists Warren Du Preez and Nick Thornton will be on display, and commissions by graffiti artist Futura, and Turner Prize nominee Nathan Colley will also feature.
The exhibition opens on 27 August and will be accompanied by live performances looking at themes developed in the exhibition. All art works are a response to new album Where Did the Night Fall.
Day Dreaming With James Lavelle runs from 27 – 30 August at Haunch of Venison, 6 Burlington Gardens, London W1S
