Gitta Gschwendtner curates furniture show
Designer Gitta Gschwendtner is curating and designing a furniture exhibition that will take place during the London Design Festival this September.
Northern Lights will feature a rubberised room containing an installation of fluorescent tube lighting and furniture by Tom Dixon, Germany-based designer Stefan Diez and Italian designers Piergiorgio Cazzaniga and Michele Cazzaniga.
Furniture showroom Viaduct, which is hosting Northern Lights, will also show new products from Diez for manufacturer E15, including Houdini (pictured) and Bessy, as well as Belgium-based architect, interiors and product designer Vincent Van Duysen’s Totem for Pastoe. Viaduct will also be showing Switzerland-based Christophe Marchand’s Marvin swivel chair for Montis.
Northern Lights runs from 16 September to 2 October.
