Hannah Davies wins New Designers One Year On Part Two

Graphic designer and illustrator Hannah Davies has been awarded the One Year On prize for Part Two of New Designers.

Davies graduated from the surface pattern design course at Swansea Metropolitan University last year. She has won commissions from Debenhams and displayed her work in Cardiff, Swansea, London and Paris.

Based in Swansea, she currently runs a jeweller’s shop for three days a week.

Davies says, ‘The most valuable aspect of winning the award is the huge exposure and the confidence it has given me, as well as the chance to meet future employers.’

She wins £500, a year’s free membership to Newdesignersonline.co.uk and a year’s membership to design resource Design Nation.

Last week jewellery designer Imogen Belfield won the One Year On award for Part One of New Designers.
