Stuart Wood takes over as Fitch executive creative director

Stuart Wood has been made executive creative director at Fitch, replacing Simon Threadkell who has been headhunted to take the role of director of design and format at Tesco.

Wood, previously creative director at the consultancy, will now oversee Europe and Russia in his new position.

Alasdair Lennox and David Roberts will support Wood in the new role. Both have been promoted from design directors to creative directors. These positions are new roles.

The three will report to Lucy Unger, director for Europe and Russia. All of the moves take effect on 1 August.

A Fitch spokeswoman says, ‘Having come out of recession, it’s important to develop our skills and bring those to bear for clients – and it’s important to structure the company correctly.’
