The three-floor Soho restaurant will offer Japanese/Peruvian cuisine.

For the interior design, Andy Martin has used natural materials including lava stone and burnt cedar.

Interior graphics will be created by Houxo Que, who will create site-specific work in the restaurant ahead of its opening.

The ground-floor features a cocktail lounge with a curved bar cut from lava stone. Retractable glass windows will allow this area to open up to the street.

Adjacent to the cocktail lounge will be a 55-cover a la carte restaurant.

A spiral, burnt-timber staircase will lead up to the upper level, which will feature an open grill, a sushi bar and a 100-cover dining room.

Houxo Que’s large-scale graphics will feature on a number of walls throughout the restaurant.

Chotto Matte is set to open in September.
